GCX Academy
Registration for the Gold Coast Xtreme Academy is now open. The GCX Academy is an open program for soccer players of all abilities, ages 5-9 years old, who are interested in developing their individual skills within a fun and informative environment. The program headed by Alex Gimenez teaches the fundamentals and helps build the confidence of our players. The focus will always be on player development with emphasis on individual skills; dribbling, passing/receiving and shooting. Our Academy players will have an enhanced opportunity to graduate into our competitive Xtreme Club teams. GCX Boys Academy Director
Alex Gimenez
Alex is in his first year at Gold Coast Xtreme. Alex has been coaching at Golden West for the past 11 seasons. Most recently he coached the Rustlers to the quarter-finals of the Community College Playoffs. Gimenez teaches at Westminster HS where he also runs the Boys Soccer Program. Alex is supported at home by his wife Griselda and his 4 kids.
