GCX Riptide Take Home the Cup

The GCX Riptide continue their strong tournament performance with taking home the championship title at the California Spring Cup. The team was pumped up to play and ready to show what they've been working on at their practices.

They finished the tournament with 8 goals for, while only allowing 1 goal against, including an impressive 3-0 championship game victory. And to top experience off, the team received their medals from a couple MLS LA Galaxy players.

GCX Riptide Make Final Eight

The GCX Riptide team went into the State Cup with confidence and dominated the first weekend, obtaining shut outs on the first 3 games. The following weekend the girls went into the round of 32 with some tough competition that ended up with a 1-1 score after over time. This led to the team's first shoot out where the team came out ahead 2-0. The team's trip ended in the Quarterfinals with a hard fought loss.
